On July 25, 2017 2017 the game Fortnite was released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One by developer Epic Games. This game featured a zombie Save the World feature which costed money and nobody really enjoyed it. So in September 26, 2017 Epic Games released a new game mode called Battle Royale.

This free game has drawn in many gamer’s that enjoys open world 3rd person multiplayer gameplay. As good as a free game sounds, many glitches and bugs appeared to be on the game. Fortunately Epic Games has weekly updates patching and adding on cool additions to the game.

A cool addition is the the duos and squads feature. This is the same thing but the player is able to play with either a friend (duos), or a group of 1-4 players (squads). Of course when playing either of these modes the lobby that you will enter will be a duos of squads lobby. There is also different skins for characters and the axe that are added at least every month, it is something that you have to buy by purchasing v-bucks. You can earn v-bucks but it is pretty hard.

Fortnite Battle Royale starts of with the player entering a lobby with 100 different players. The player is then on a Bus( Battle Bus) which moves in a straight line hovering over various different spots to jump off to. When the player decides to jump they would exit the bus and dive down to the designated spot they have chosen. Before landing on the ground an automatic glider shoots to glide over safely. When landing players start of with a simple axe. Players may encounter other players, to eliminate others, the player must find a weapon on floors, houses, and chests.

There is more to than shooting in Fortnite a cool feature they have is that you are able to build. By gathering materials around the player must break trees, buildings, boulders, and even get materials out of chests. There are different platforms that the the player can build such as a flat floor, stairs, wall, and pyramid, the player can build as much as they want depending on how much materials they have.

The map does not stay open forever. A dangerous ring that damages the player engulfs the map each 2-3 minutes forcing players to get to the safe zone. The ring can close anywhere around the map in each game, the ring also does more damage each time it repeats. In the end the the ring will entirely engulf the map which results in players quickly trying to eliminate each other or dies by the damage of the ring.

When the last person is alive they win the game. A fat sign pops up on the screen stating “#1 Victory Royale”

Many popular youtuber’s are playing this game right now, posting videos of there gameplay everyday. This game has been so populated and is still populating to other gamers around the world. I personally love this game and play it almost everyday. Getting that victory royale is very hard for me and gets me very frustrated at times but nevertheless I enjoy the game alot.

So if your not playing the game what are you doing download it and get that VICTORY ROYALE!!

Even though you wrote a game review not to ruin your parade but at the same time you wrote a “game review” about it. Wasn’t expecting a deep “what its about” type of article. To improve in my opinion write about YOUR experience and how you play with techniques or other ways you enjoy the game. Remember its a “game review” in which you explain up’s and down’s about what you have gone through trying out the game.
